01Investment thesis

  • Hacker houses and talent clusters bring exceptional hackers together. We get to know founders before they fundraise, while they live together, experiment and find early traction.
  • We look for unconventional signs of exceptional ability: a high-school rare-coin business, a sneaker-botting operation, or a construction company that built hundreds of homes before its founder turned 23. Many are college dropouts and oddballs who have never raised venture capital.
  • We aim to be the first institutional check, before the rest of venture catches on. Then we help with positioning, investor introductions and fundraising for the next round.
